Today was a very nice warm run I was over dressed I wore 2 layers and should have only wore 1, I ran 3.19 miles at an overall pace of 12:35 I ran with Kory and our dog Buddy it was a fun run but seemed a little hard my legs felt a little tired when I first started. But once I got going it wasn't so bad.

Rachelle:

Some thoughts on your training to make it most effective. Train 6 days a week without skipping. Training must be something that just happens, just like eating or sleeping, rather than an occasional treat or excursion. Establish a minimum quota for daily mileage. 2 sounds like a good idea. Go more if you feel good. Go slower if you do not, even take walking breaks if you have to, but do get through 2 miles at the very least. Increase the mileage and the speed very gradually and cautiously as your fitness increases. Periodically get into a 5 K to test your fitness in a fun way.
